christoper cook emmy rose

Christopher Cook & Emmy Rose

Christopher Cook’s songs of sadness and loss, defiance and redemption reflect his rural Texas roots – the loneliness of the flatlands, the bare hills of winter, and a yearning for true connection.  Emmy’s harmonium adds an old-world resonance to their music. Christopher likens it to hearing old men gathered to play in a town square – telling the tale of being human, living on the earth, calling music from on high.
